WHAT TO EXPECT
Your skin will be numbed for comfort. Treatment takes 30–60 minutes with mild warmth during the session. Redness and slight swelling may last 1–3 days. A series of three treatments spaced four weeks apart is recommended for optimal results.

For best result, we recommend three treatments for most clients to achieve full results. Your treatments will be four weeks apart. After the first treatment you will notice minimal improvement, after the second treatment you will notice moderate improvement and after the third we will have achieved significant improvement of your skin with improvement of wrinkles, skin tone, skin tightening and overall skin rejuvenation!

Downtime is very minimal. You may notice slight redness or swelling, much like a mild sunburn, which usually fades within 24 to 72 hours.

Results of RF Microneedling vary from person to person, but can last on average for about a year and a half so it is worth the investment into the treatment.

Side effects to expect after an RF microneedling treatment are redness and slight swelling to the skin, sometimes occasional scabbing or flaking of the skin, dryness of the skin and overall need for healing. It is the injury that's created that leads to the collagen production so these are expected side effects that will get you wonderful results.

Before your RF Microneedling appointment, avoid significant sun exposure and stop using retinols, BHAs, AHAs, or other harsh skincare products for at least one week. We also recommend arriving at Citrus Aesthetics with a clean, makeup-free face.
